Hey, thanks! Both are actually the same pattern (Lover's Knot made with log cabin blocks - a lot of fun and very easy), except DD's is set on point (that's part of the pattern I actually followed!). Never did a quilt with the corners 'chopped off', but I'm thinking it'll probably be easier to bind - no mitered corners. The more I look at it, the more our autumn-themed quilt looks very conservative. Not sure yet how I'll quilt hers, but mine I meandered and threw some loopy hearts in. Both were sew on my 1920-something Eldredge Two Spool treadle, and I'm planning on doing fm quilting on the Singer 31-15 treadle (because it's such a big quilt, and she's anxious to get it on her bed!).

Love them both! I like the orange walls!

I love both of your quilts!! I really like the first one because it is my daughter's taste also and she's 27!!!

Love both of the quilts, but the first one is definitely my favorite. Not loud at all for me.
|
WOW - Hard to believe they are both from the same pattern! Both beautiful in their own unique way and made so well.
|
love the loud one. good job on both....amazing how color changes everything.
|
I like it.

I love the bright colors, very cool for a 10 year old. I am sure she loves it. I love the tie dye fabric, where in the world did you find that. So cool!

My quilts all seem to be "loud". I love bright colors and hope that they are shouting "I'm so happy to be quilting".
|
Awesome love the lime! Is the second a thimbleberries fabric palette?
