Your placemat is lovely. We are also making placemats for Meals on Wheels in RI. And I thought it was our guild's idea. Thanks to whoever came up with the idea, it is a great idea.

That is great. Love the pattern and the fabric is perfect. Aren't the members on this board great?

ManiacQuilter2 11-16-2015 05:51 AM

What a neat pattern having the pineapple twist added. Our church did them for Meals on Wheels last year and they were a big hit.

coopah 11-16-2015 05:57 AM

Those fabrics are luscious and love that pattern! The Meals on Wheels folks will be excited with these. Just lovely.

JoyjoyMarie 11-16-2015 06:05 AM

It looks great - what a nice way to brighten someone's day!

callen 11-16-2015 06:27 AM

Our Quilt Guild is doing this for Meals on Wheels this year. Would love to make that pattern. Where did you get it, if you don't mind me asking ? Each member is probably going to do at least 3-4 each so that they have extras. We are not going to do them in Holiday fabric so that they can be used all year long.

Homespun 11-16-2015 06:35 AM

Very pretty...a great gift.

rosiewell 11-16-2015 07:34 AM

They are very pretty! I was a visiting CNA before I retired & I was in the homes many times when MOW came. The clients were so appreciative. So I can tell you that you have made several people very happy. Bless you for your generosity. Great job!

I saw a placemat on-line.....could not find a pattern. I used graph paper and came up with this placemat.

The center rectangle is 7 1/2" X 12 1/2" and the border strips are 2" wide.
