Hi, Ladies:

I made the top of this quilt three years ago. I posted a few pictures back then and asked if I should add an additional border to it. I had two options but couldn't decide which one. After that, my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. This quilt top sat there for three years. I finally finished it without adding additional border. I also quilted it using my regular Brother sewing machine. This quilt is 90x90", which is pretty big for a small sewing machine. I learned my lesson. I won't make these kind large quilt unless I have a bigger sewing machine. After I finished the quilt, I felt good about completed the process. It is a good feeling. :)

First picture is top, second is back.

Thanks for looking.

I love this quilt! I love the background you worked with. It really is beautiful. It goes really good with the blocks and the border too.

Wow - you did that great quilting on a "regular" sewing machine! Awesome!

Perfect. No additional border needed. I understand about no more until get new machine feeling. I imagine you picked up a few pointers from this one and if you decide to quilt another one on this machine, it will go much easier.
Sorry for your loss. Quilting saw me through the pain when I lost my grandson in Afghanistan. I experienced lots of kisses from heaven. (Tears)

Beautiful quilt! Now go get a massage on those shoulders! Your quilting is lovely, and I know how difficult it is to wrangle a large quilt through a small machine throat! Well done.
