finished quilt for a dear friend
 

I saw a lovely quilt on this board made by Jeanne S and took that idea to make this quilt for a good friend. Here's my rendition.

I used 5" squares in mine but I imagine you could use any size.

I love the colors you chose. They remind me of a flower garden in spring...brown soil, golden sun, blue sky and pink and red flower blooms. The slanted scrappy border frames the center of the quilt so nice. The curvy quilting design softens the quilt. Your good friend will be thrilled to give this quilt a home!
