I learned mine by doodling, drawing the over and over again either on scrap paper or a white board.

you might try you tube, sorry I don't have a link. There a number of ways to make them, I use the one that works for me.

That is wonderful. :-) I have a stash of old scrubs I have put away for such a project. Some have the logos of the hospital I was working at on them. I want to incorporate those into the quilt to sort of trace my years as an RN. I really thought I would make it once i retire but if I wait for that day I may never get it made! :lol:

I got the book, "hooked on feathers" and practiced a lot on paper first, then on fabric. It's like anything else, practice, practice, practice. I am not satisfied yet, so I need a lot more practice. :-)

Cool! I have thought about doing this. In the thrift stores here there are always lots of super cute scrubs and I always thought they would make nice quilts! Sometimes they have dollar bag days, and I am just waiting to catch one of those days to stock up :) Your quilt is very pretty!
