This is proof that this pattern is foolproof. Due to an error in cutting I reduced the size of the block from 17.5" to 15.5" and it still loos great! My machine quilting is clearly a work in progress but overall I like it.

Thanks, some of the quilting is pretty OK, some is hideous...I just kept at it. Next time, I shall skip the stencil pattern and just free form it, what I did free form looks a lot better than the set patterns.

That looks great...did you do the back and front quilting together or seperate? I haven't gotten brave enough to do a big piece yet....so I'm still FMQ'ing my squares and then sewing together!

Wonderful! Maybe I will try a turning twenty after all! Keep talking myself out of doing one since the pieces are so large, but it would be a good way to use some of my stash, maybe make a scrappy one!?!?!

I have found that to be true with my FMQ on my short-arm and frame! After each quilt you will feel more and more comfortable with your work. I did a lot of baby blankets for charity to build my confidence level. Good Luck.
