Fire Island Hosta quilted and ready for binding.

Jayne did her Judy Neimeyer Fire Island Hosta in off white fabrics. I like the idea but the contrast was very low on this pattern that I am use to seeing in very high contrast fabrics. I think the puff of the quilting helped bring out the pattern. The last photo is the pieced back of the quilt made from the left over fabrics. I am very happy with it and hope Jayne will be thrilled.

Fantastic!
It is beautiful. Must have been difficult to piece with the fabrics being so close in color. The quilting certainly defined it beautifully.
How could anyone not be thrilled with this one?
It is a different colour choice but I love wholecloth quilts and this gives that impression. Your quilting is superb definitely enter it in a show.
Your quilting is awesome. At first I thought it was the back and had to really look at it. I have a king size one to quilt this week.
Wonderfully quilted. Really makes the piecing stand out.
Your quilt is gorgeous!!!!
It is simply awesome and your quilting is mostly what makes it so! Both of you did a great job on this one!
I have a bed this would go on perfectly. awesome job.

Gorgeous made me speechless
wow, gorgeous
Simply spectacular! JN designs are almost always very colorful and full of contrast but I think this low volume presentation presentation is especially wonderful. A real show stopper!
I am loving the low volume in this pattern. I never would have thought to do it that way but its awesome... the quilting makes this a show stopper.
Beautiful quilting.
absoutley gorgepous!!

I, too, thought it was the back originally. I had to look closely for the color differences. My initial thought was why would someone put that much work into a nondescript quilt. After seeing the close ups, I see why she chose this colorway. It made the quilt really stand out subtly. Then your quilting! OMG! I think you've outdone yourself! I think you just might get beat at the show with this one!
Your quilting is exquisite.
Just gorgeous! The quilting is fantastic!

Beautifully quilted. With the low contrast color scheme it gives the appearance of a wholecloth quilt.
