I think you've done a great job. All that practicing paid off.

That is so beautiful! I can only hope to get anywhere near that good someday.

Is anyone else like me that when you look at quilting it looks like it's reversed? Like instead of puffing up in the design it looks sunken in? It takes a bit for it to resolve itself or blinking my eyes.

Thanks Loretta but http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...aughing025.gif , custom work, I dont think so!!!!!! I want a long arm soooo bad or at least a mid arm. I think it would be so much easier than this free motion on a domestic machine. I appluade everyone who does it, cause this stuff is not easy.

I'm heartbroken! Are you really going to forge ahead and leave me to be the only person on this board who can't do machine quilting????? Your "practice" look great!

I think you did an AWESOME job!
I looked at her directions, looks easy, but question....
You do the first feather, then to get the "top" part done, are you retracing to go BACK to get to the top or are you starting and stopping?

Melissa, FABULOUS job! I am in awe of your feathers!

(No, I am the other person that can not do machine quilting, Harmony, so you aren't alone! :( )
