You all know I cant machine quilt worth a flip, (you have all heard me whine about it over & over) So I have been practicing and practicing and then practicing some more. Just now I tried Jackie's over the top feathers and I am pretty pleased with it. Some of my feathers are still a little wonky and some of my outline is jerky but I think I might get there yet. :D

Let me tell you, honey ... if you can't quilt, then I might as well just go find another worthwhile hobby!

That is a real professional looking job, you did very well. it is true! practice makes perfect <g> Good job! It has taken me a very LONG time of practicing to get here!!!!! Still a lot more to go but I think I might be ready to try it on a real quilt before too long!!!!! That scares me to pieces though, I am afraid to ruin a quilt. |
Yeah, if it's any consolation, you're MILES ahead of me! Very pretty!
No matter what---keep it up!!! I took a class and just did not gel with the teacher or her method of teaching. Walked away feeling it was a waste of my whole day, money for the class, gas and lunch. Very frustrating. |
Very nice! It looks incredible!
