I hand painted the back round fabric and then thread painted the bark with a really cool yarn. The leaves were done with 15 different colors of thread. My arms were tired when I finished this and it was a real labor of love. Hope you like it.....

Question ... you mentioned you used a "really cool yarn" for the bark. Did you run that through the needle or was it bobbin work? If through the needle, what is the weight of the thread and what needle size did you use?

Not done through a needle.....was couched on. Have an attachment that the yarn is threaded through and it's sewn over the top of the yarn. I put the yarn in a jar behind the machine so it would feed through easily.
