Anyway, here are pics of the bow tucks. This one is for my youngest daughter. Had some trouble with it so it turned out an odd size. This one is for another daughter. It turned out pretty good I thought. This is the very first one I did. It is the mini sized one. It is for noone right now |
They are very cute! I'm hoping to make my first 1 next week for my DD.

Cute, cute! I am going to break down and make one too, one of these days. LOL

Very nice. I am going to have to do some research on this and see if I can find a pattern for these. I would love to make a few!!! :)

What pretty bags, love the fabrics. I have the pattern and will try it in 2011. Have made a lot of totes, so hopefully won't be too hard. If i do, i will hollor :)

Would you believe that Penny Sturges lives here in the same gated golf course community that I do? I've met her many times and actually was doing her Bow Tuck Bag in a smaller size. She liked it and published a second smaller Bow Tuck pattern. I especially like the Camille bag, but I've "shrunk" that one also and put more pockets in it. She's a lovely gal; too busy to join our quilt guild here.
|
Penny Sturges is the designer and her line is called "Quilts Illustrated". Her patterns are literally all over the US in quilt shops. She actually lives here in the same community that I do. I was in Alaska this past summer and they were in 3 of the shops I checked out! I travel quite a bit in a motorhome and I'm not kidding... they are all over the US. Penny has been very successful with her patterns. I've made many, but I especially like the Camille bag. Just made a fourth one for a Christmas gift.
