My first quilt ever was a king size, and I used a pattern about as complicated as you chose -- I don't even try that precise piecing any more! You did a wonderful job.

The pattents are wonderful, the colors scheme is very comfortable looking and the scalloped edge just added that much more to an already incredible quilt.

Mistakes, I don't see any mistakes. Your friend is right, do not show your mistakes, just show the quilt, and take in the ooooh,s and aaaaaah's. If you don't point them out, most people will not find any. Glad you finished your first
quilt, now it will be easier to finish the next four. It looks like you put a lot of work in to your quilt, nice job, keep up the good work.

Your first quilt is sure 1000% better than my first quilt. It is really beautiful, and your friends are right...don't point out the mistakes. Your friends, unless they are show quilt judges, would never notice! All they will seee is the beauty of your colors and pattern.
