First finished quilting project!
 

I have been working on this the past few days, a little shabby and far from the greatest first attempt, but, boy, I sure am proud of it. I am so pleased. My only major disappointment was the binding. It came out a little wonky, but I'll know better next time!

Well thats great,you did awesome for your first try, and you'll get better with everyone, I wish you could see my first attempt, but it is long gone, goodness knows why, but a neice like it so thats where it is finishing its life.

I love it. The binding is better than many I have seen from experienced quilters.

Welcome from Michigan! You did a wonderful job. I try to remember a little sentiment a dear friend told me - if it were perfect it wouldn't be hand made! I've been quilting for a couple of years now and hoping someday I will quilt more relaxed and be more pleased with my finished projects. I gave up on knitting but I refuse to give up on quilting.

I think it looks great!!! You did a good job. Wish my first one had turned out that good.

Very pretty! You did a great job......Don't be so hard on yourself, we all were beginners at one time. My first one was so dark that I still shudder when I look at it (I tried to match the colors in the fabrics so well that everything blended TOO much and there was NO contrast!)
