Absolutely beautiful! You must be so proud!
Oh, very nice!
I was about to ask if it was from that book, lol! I have it too, I'm dying to try a landscape quilt but I have so many other things on my plate right now... I love the way yours turned out! :) |
That is beautiful. I just got her book, but haven't gotten up the courage to do one yet!
That's just beautiful!
I have to chime in and say how pretty it is too. You did a great job of it.
It's just wonderful!! :D My, what
a lot of work & you did it so well. Thank you for sharing with all of us. :D :D :D :D :D |
Beautiful. Looks like you could reach out and touch the leaves.
That is just GORGEOUS! Is everything appliqued on top of the background? Wow. Really beautiful.
Yes everything is sewn onto the background fabric. Interesting, you don't use fusible, you just use one of those glue sticks. I cut out the leaves and flowers while watching tv.Thank you for your comment.
That is breath taking beautiful!!!
Very nice. Looks almost real. :D
Oooo, this is so pretty!!

Another gorgeous quilt from you---you are so versatile and talented!!!
Very realistic, great piece of art and excellent work!!!
I have the book too and have been looking longingly at the quilts....don't know if I could ever do the wonderful job you did!
It's pretty easy as the glue sticks work better than i thought. just jump in and try. There are no quilt police you know.
That is so nice!!! Have to try one some day - just like everything else - ......someday.
Wow!!!!!
WOW!!! That's lovely---you did a great job. TFS.
Landscape quilt---another 'wanna-do'---the list keeps getting longer. ranger |
What a beautiful job you have done. I too have been interested in landscape quilting. I have decided to start my first one this month for a friends birthday in late part of December. I told her I will probably have to give her an IOU.
I have been doing extensive research on landscape quilting and I agree Nancy Zieman's book and DVD is fantastic. Also, Joyce Becker saw similar work with embellishments thrown in. I like her style also. I found a great site www.IQuilt.com (sorry don't know how to make this a link) but this site offers online lessons at a very reasonable price and Joyce Becker has course on Landscape quilting ...$19.95 for Part A and B. The class length is 4 weeks for this amount. I think its worth looking into. Keep up the good work...I very seldom post but felt I wanted to let you know what a Great Quilt you did. Judy |
OMG that is beautiful. I am envious of your talent.
Beautiful. So real looking. Wish my yard looked liked that.
It's beautiful. You did a great job.
