I'll bet you have one very happy brother-in-law. I especially like the asymmetrical setting.

I know that he really likes it.

The asymmetrical setting was a happy accident. :) I wasn't following a pattern, and I goofed. But I kept it consistent, and I love how it turned out.

Hi Jenel, I recall that some time ago you posted that you were using your Brother PQ1500S on the Grace frame. I'm looking at that set up now. How did that work out for you? I see now that you have a Bailey on it, so I'm assuming you didn't like using the 1500 on the frame? Would love to hear some details before I make a mistake

How perfect is that! I really like the quilt and a perfect use of the theme of the fabric. I know this quilt will be loved and enjoyed by a super fan of the Kansas Jayhawks. Great quilt.

Jenel, I love the blueberry fabric in your quilt! Just this morning I was reading "A New Look at Log Cabin Quilts" by Flavin Glover, and then I saw your photos which give a perfect example of the use of light/dark traditional blocks. Your manipulation of the blocks to create a design is very effective and make me feel inspired.
