First log cabin quilt
 

I'd been wanting to do a log cabin quilt. My brother-in-law requested a Kansas Jayhawks quilt, and I found fabric that had the school logo in red, perfect for the center of a log cabin square, I thought. So the "Jayhawks in the Ho-o-ouse" quilt was conceived. :) I machine-pieced it with a Brother PQ1500S and quilted it with a Bailey on a Grace frame. Thanks for looking!

Thanks, everyone! He did love it, said it was the best gift he'd ever received. I think he was joking when he made the request for a Jayhawks quilt, never thought I'd follow through with it. :) It was fun to surprise him.

Yes! It's such a great machine. No fancy doodads, just a very powerful, basic straight-stitch machine that is a workhorse. Love it!
