Nice job on your first quilt!

Thank you! You all are too sweet. Tweety, no I didn't use a walking foot, just a standard/zigzag and tried to keep the lines straight. There are a few places where it got away from the ditch but I ripped back the obvious ones and unless you put your nose in it you can't tell. I used a chocolate brown thread so it blends with the scheme well. I'll probably buy a walking foot soonish.

From the looks of this quilt, you're on your way to a fun hobby. I'm sure they will use this quilt with a baby in the house. I've found babies do tend to like the satin binding. Have fun learning a new skill.
