What gorgeous fabric you used. A very attractive quilt.

I love the top and what I can see of the quilting. After the disaster of Fort McMurray, I am sure the residents really need the encouragement that quilts like your will give.

Jane Quilter 06-01-2016 11:40 AM

Got to start somewhere. You did a fine job. Love the purple.

So far the only problem is learning how to get good tension. I used the sample thread they gave me, OMNI from Superior. I couldn't get some others to work. I am sure they will work but I have to learn the technique better. I've watched many videos on how to achieve this.

It looks great! How did you like your Simply Sixteen? I just got mine installed this week. I haven't had time to use it yet. I will have to practice a lot. Your quilting looks incredible!

What a wonderful quilt for the people of Ft McMurry. We lived with the hazy skies for a long time. I can not imagine what they went, and re still going through. It is a beautiful gift.

Beautiful quilt! I like the quilting too.

quilterpurpledog 06-03-2016 04:29 AM

Lovely quilt and your quilting looks great. Great start for using your Sweet Sixteen. I see lots of quilts in your future! I am sure your gift to the Fort McMurray fire victims will be well received and appreciated.

It is soooooo pretty! Great color choices!

EmiliasNana 06-03-2016 04:58 AM

I'm impressed...................look at the lovely ruler work and stenciling! But then again..............everything you post is perfection with a capital "P". I have the Tiara II, which is basically the same machine in a sit down version and so fun to play with. It definitely takes my quilting experience to the next level and stretches my creativity. Have fun with your new toy!!!

Bren 06-03-2016 05:12 AM

Very pretty!

Chocolate Lynn 06-03-2016 05:37 AM

Beautiful job and I'm sure will be well appreciated. Is there an organization that is gathering quilts for the fire victims?
