Well, I decided to take the plunge. Trying to keep it simple for a first try. This was the only WTP print at Walmart. I fussy cut the characters. Still fooling around with how to place blocks but I wanted to share this. It's for my partner's sister's baby. Her nursery theme is Winnie the Pooh. It was a little hard to pick out complementing colors, being new at this. I hope they look okay. Any suggestions for a SIMPLE way to make it look more interesting? I am sooooo excited to do this!

Very Pretty!!! Love those fabrics!!! :D :D :D
Is that a blue border for the quilt? I like that, and then maybe a second border of the green and bind it with the pink. |
YAY!!!! Great job on your first quilt top! I like it the way it is. And the border color is great!

Thanks, Amma. Yes, the blue is a ready made "blanket binding." I was thinking along your lines, too, that green and pink would look nice worked into some kind of border/binding. I've been looking around the board and the net for easy border and binding methods, since the idea still intimidates me a little.

Thanks, Ducky, my partner thought it was a really good color for the binding, too, I'm glad you second that. : )
