Top done and backing chosen, just not quilted yet. My colors were fall choices. I think very nice as its my favorite time of the year. I appliqued some fall leaves in the border also.

Yes, I did use batting. I tried silk, just to see how it worked, and also because it is very light weight, and the quilt top is extra heavy because of the foundation.

That came out beautiful! Love, love, love the colors! Reminds me of the fabric in one of my favorite dresses when I was in college.
