I used one layer of batting and some tablecloth material I have had for years! A gal that owned a restaurant at the time ordered her tablecloths too big so I had to cut 9 or 10 inches off two sides to square them up to fit her tables....she let me keep the scraps...I use it alot for things like this...its kind of a heavy material. I have both white and red for colors in it.... kind of handy to have!

OHHHH I really like it. I love hearts!!! You sure are a busy bee LOL
Great Job on all your projects. |
Very pretty!

I love your coasters, those are too cute! Those would make great christmas gifts, put a little ribbona round them and a nice gift tag and voila...lol. I made some raggedy coasters for my grandmother in law and my mom. I love your holiday colors!

You're putting a few of us to shame, but keep it up! Maybe we'll learn one of these times! :D

Wow you are busy, wasn't it only a couple of days ago that you had two lovely seasonal wall hangings completed. Love how your heart has turmed out,I too remember seeing it on the design wall :-)

thanks again everyone! Yeah, that heart laid in my sewing room for a long time and when I pulled it out and put it together and it went so fast I was ashamed of myself for not finishing it sooner! LOL
A couple of tablerunners in the works now and then I have a quilt top I put together on Superbowl Sunday (mystery) that I plan to sandwich and quilt. Been a fun week... I hate that summer has come to an end but I love I have more time for quilting now! |
really, I never thought much of Fabric coasters let alone quilted ones. But, seeing yours. I believe I've changed my mind. I think those would make lovely Christmas or Housewarming gifts also.
