just 3" square so far--about 90 total. These are a few of my favorites. A week vacation coming up should really show some signs of growth.

That is a fine start for a field of flowers.
|
Well--it won't be a quilt--just a lot of runners and wall hangings. lol I'll do another quilt someday... but I want my craft sale pile nice and high first.
|
That is going to be gorgeous!!!

So lovely. Would you please post a picture of the fabric that you have used? Thank you.
|
I know someone who would be so happy with this......do you have a tute for it? Or dimensions of strips?
|
Beautiful,might have to try this
|
I remember some years ago, being so awed by your floral log cabins. I finally tried one myself and made a runner for a good friend in CO. She was blown away by that runner. Nice to see you come full circle and do a re-run.
|
Beautiful start! Please post when done I would love to see it!

Lovely as always Karla.

I've been collecting florals for doing a log cabin like this, and other "watercolor" type quilts. It's been fun picking out fabric that is suitable.
Got lucky last year stopping at Marshells in AR - I think I picked up 20 different fabrics that will work. |
I love florals and you have some beauties! What wonderful way to use them. I really like the idea of a runner with this design and think a bed-size quilt would also be outstanding done this way.
How will you expand them? How big would your log cabin squares be for a runner? Please post again as you expand them. Thanks for this great use of floral fabric. |
Barnbum, I really love your work and hope to try it one day. Look forward to seeing the finished project!
