i would use a water soluble stabalizer. freezer paper won't wash out. you can buy a small roll of stabilizer it has lots of uses, maybe split a roll with a friend.

You might want to try some water soluble stabilizer on the back of the sandwich and maybe loosen the tension a little.

I have the older version of the quilting table for my Viking SE. It has a series of holes that you can use for circular sewing, using a push pin. you can make a circle from about 3" up to 18", in 1/2" increments. Works great, but you need to go slowly & stabilize as needed. Thanks for the spirograph link. I'll have to try that one!

Jacquie, Would it help to use a hoop as well as stablizer? The stitch is pretty though.

I've been told to heavily starch my fabric and use stabilizer when doing embroidery. I think this would help with your success.

it might,,but I was just testing on small pieces...I do have a series of hoops though..so might also try this!

just use printer paper...I save the misprints and other pages I do not want for this. I works fine. I used it the other day to do decorative stitching around the neck and hems of teeshirts. I have used it for years and only go to the more expensive stuff when doing machine embroidery in a hoop.

I did see that there were small pieces. I wonder, too, if spray glue might help such as 505 or Sullivan's.

for MANY reasons I will not use spray glue...
