I think that this is what you call "Staying the Course". I can't even imagine finishing a quilt like that.

I'm not the greatest quilter and I was going to atempt exactly what you suggest. Then I thought if I do that then I'll have to do someting very organized on all the flying geese, which are traditionally stitch in the ditch.That was way too much work for me to wrap my brain around so I did an all over feather pattern and it did came out beautiful. Thanks! If I ever find the quilted pic' I'll post it again. :D
