This ia a picture of the finished quilt that was behined the tote bag picture, for the curious. There are 209 piecies per block or 3344 pieces before sashing and border. Took me almost one year to complete it. I lost the totally finished pic'. How sad
The pattern is from American Patchwork & quilting, February 2009 and is called History Repeated. History Repeated |

Did you love it or hate it by the time you were done? I doubt that I will ever do anything that complicated but it sure is beautiful!

That is beautiful work as are the ones behind it from what I can see. Is that a display or design board that you can turn the "pages" to have 2 or 3 different quilts on? What a neat idea!
If it is, maybe you could post a separate topic about that! I just think it's very inventive! And I'd really like to see those other quilts. But many, many kudos on the Flying Geese!! |

EXCELLENT!!!

Beautiful! I also admired this quilt on your totes topic. Thanks for posting a picture of it. When you quilted it, did you put a fancy motif in the large squares of each block? I can visualize a feather wreath in each of those. Great job on this and thank you for sharing the pattern too.
