I believe I may have invented ,some new words in the process, of quilting it. I can say your flower medallions look marvenous compared to mine and I wouldn't be ashamed to show your queen quilt at all. I love the colors and I agree with your DH. I think the quilt looks great...we get hung up on following the lines and being perfect but sometimes things look great even when they aren't.

Thanks so much for all your kind comments. Now that it's finished and on the bed, I find I do like it and I'm not looking at it so critically. And when I show it off to people, I try to avoid pointing out my mistakes to them! :)

Oh you did a WONDERFUL job! I'm hoping to get SOME sort of a quilting machine when I get my taxes back (yes, I'm thinking that far ahead!), and I hope I do even a fraction as good as you did. That's AWESOME! :c)

I think you did great - it is very difficult to maintain control with a sewing machine and a giant quilt - I get lost sometimes and have to pull the whole thing out and restart.
