Here's a pic of a quick little key wallet I finished tonight ;). It's just the right size to hold my ID and credit cards with my keys on the ring, and still fit in my pocket.

FYI If your using that for car keys do not have anything heavy in the purse/holder. I was getting the shaking finger from my mechanic for having a lot of nifty gadgets on my keys, he told me that he just replaced his wife's ignition tumblers on her car from her having too much weight on the keys and it wore down the tumblers.
