Just had to post a picture of this wreath I made.... It's in a patriotic theme, but there are so many variations/endless ways to make them....

Love it! A perfect combination of fabrics!

ManiacQuilter2 01-09-2016 02:02 PM

Love the fabric combination. You are all set for the 4th of July! What did you use for the filler?? Pattern calls for a single sided foam. Never used that before.

ruthrings 01-09-2016 02:04 PM

This is fabulous!

Merrylin 01-09-2016 05:45 PM

Very nice! Great job.

quilter2theend 01-09-2016 05:49 PM

Where do you get the pattern?

Tartan 01-09-2016 06:01 PM

Lovely candle mat! I also would like to know what you used for the stiffener. I like the crisp look it gives.

doloresbeger 01-10-2016 05:49 AM

I made one of these using the foam and did not like it at all. I am going to use a really stiff product , one of the pellon stiffners the next time. The foam is hard to sew through. Just my opinion.

BrendaK 01-10-2016 05:52 AM

LOVE it. I have never seen this before, was it hard to do? What is the name of the pattern, please. It's wonderful. BrendaK

That is very nice and so patriotic. You did a lovely job on it and I love the colors you chose. Your project has many uses-4th of July, Memorial day and many other holidays.

QUILTNMO 01-10-2016 08:37 AM

very nicely done!!!

justnananettie 01-10-2016 10:48 AM

I didn't use the single sided foam, I used Pellon, firm iron on backing with extra crispness...worked really well!

Yes, it can be hung if you make the sleeve part for hanging, you would probably want to put some sort of bow, or ribbon on it.

Great wreath and I love the buttons. I really like the versatility for your wreath. I know one is in my future. I also want to know what you used to give it structure.
