The fabric was a free find so I am not sure what it is, feels very much like a fine silk. but could be simply a type of satin. I quilted with white 40wt Isacord. :^)

Fantastic frame idea. Love the modern straight line quilting to bring out the feather. I saw this recently at a quilt show and it was very effective. Lovely job.
