Really love the colors. Blue and green are my favorites. Excellent job. Seeing quilts like this is what keeps me coming back to this sight every night.
This quilt is a work of art! I could see it on a wall in a corporate space, maybe an architect's office. Perhaps you will get an offer?!?!?! I am in awe of your work.
Beautiful! I can't imagine the hours of work.
Gorgeous quilt! Well done and the colours and fabric choices are spot on! :)
Beautiful. I'm going to have to go hunt down that book!
Lovely
This is so pretty!
I got that book as an interlibrsry loan and am considering which I should do. Are the black lines (that would be soddered lines in stain glass) only 1/4” finished? I’m nervous about that! |
Manysts -- thank you for reviving this 2016 thread! That is an amazing quilt! I don't blame you for wanting to give it a try. Just take it piece by piece. You'll get those 1/4 finished black pieces done beautifully, I'm sure!
A gorgeous quilt!
That is beautiful, way above my level.
Hi Manysts
Stillclock the OP provided a link to a free pattern for the top and bottom blocks portion of her design you could download the pattern for those blocks and just try them first before committing to the whole quilt. this is the link she posted: https://windhamfabrics.com/images/pr...ss_squared.pdf that link goes straight to a pdf if you don't want to go directly to the download page, go here first: https://windhamfabrics.com/php/fabri...&patternID=301 You can do it! good luck! :) |
Frank Lloyd Wright would be proud of you! Well done!

Aileen,
The quilt is beautiful. The fabric choices you made are stunning and makes it look like a stained glass window. I was wondering if it would be OK to post this to Facebook as an "Inspirational" quilt? Marian |

Marian Welcome to the board! This is an old thread, restarted. Aileen, AKA Stillclock, the original poster (OP) hasn't posted on this board since January 2017, so you may not get an answer from her. That doesn't mean we're not glad you're here. But what do I know? She just might answer. |
Absolutely gorgeous!
