The name of the quilt is "Broad Stripes, Bright Star" by Darlene Zimmerman and I found the pattern at www.robertkaufman.com. and the original size of the quilt was 76" by 76" and the finished size of the small stars in the center was 6" x 6". I found the advertisement in "Quiltmaker" March/April 2014 issue. There was another site listed in the ad - swatchandstitch.com. Hope this answers everyone's questions. My second quilt was a civil war quilt and I had fabric left over (and all of you said "save the extra" fabric) and that is what I used to make this quilt.

Best compliment I can give is I wish it were mine!

What a great pattern. It reminds me of the original thirteen colonies of the United States of America since it has the thirteen stars in the large center star motif.
