French Rose

Finished up a large queen French Rose quilt for a friend who loves lots of color! The pattern calls for simple raw-edge applique - I've since washed it and it's taking on the desired cottage quilt appearance. Just what my dear friend asked for! Thanks for looking.

Oh that is gorgeous. i must make one i keep saying. did you use fusible on the backs of the petals/flowers or just starch the fabric a bit? I just saw one using fusible but thought the edges wouldn't rag much then.
