Yep, I received your row and I can't wait to start working on it. As soon as I finish I'll send it out to the next person. Hopefully we can get a hold of ElizH, so we can get back on track.

Whoops, I did not mean to post my pictures twice- sorry. DS just showed me a special downloading site for pictures. It is www.imgur.com. There is one place that you use just for uploading to bulletin boards. It is supposed to be fast! He did it the first time- I have not tried any more pictures since these.

Luckylindy, here are your rows. The second row is the one ElizH made. I'm still working on my row for you.

Sorry -- duplicate post

luckylindy333 08-18-2011 05:23 PM

Ooooh, pretty- thanks, Kelly, for the pictures! No hurry...

Kathy N 08-20-2011 12:37 PM

I finished my row for Crafty3790 The birds were fun to work with. I cut all the birds to 6-1/2" blocks and then went through my block book to find blocks that had that size center!

We are having bad weather right now so I will have to add photos later when computer is a bit more cooperative. I do need to know who I should mail to at this point.

Crafty3790 08-21-2011 12:17 PM

I love it an I really love the red toenail polish. LOL

Crafty3790 08-21-2011 12:21 PM

Maybe this is just a suggestion we can send them to the person they belong to so if there's any problem we will at least have some blocks from it.Kathy your is the blue with white right? If whoever has the white can send some out to me I can work on it. We would need to be diligent in taking photos so we know what's been done. What do you guys think?

Kathy N 08-21-2011 04:59 PM

That would work. Elizabeth has the white fabric right now, she was going to mail it on its way this week. I would feel more secure if my rows came home to me.

debe 08-22-2011 03:53 AM

okay we will return all rows to their orginal owners...what about the medallion round robin? that seems to be going fine....

Crafty3790 08-22-2011 04:38 PM

Debe I was still planning on making rows for those still in the exchange I just meant I would finish the row and instead of sending it to the next person I sent it to it belongs to this way if they get stranded somewhere it won't be like 4 rows of the persons. If we each who are still in the row robin each do a row by a certain date for each one we will still end up with 5 or 6 rows depending on who is left. Does that make sense.

Kathy N 08-22-2011 05:32 PM

Thats the way I understood your suggestion. Send the rows home upon completion. We continue making rows when it is time, we just mail them direct to the owner. The only thing we might need is a swatch of fabric to show the color match, photos don't always do it justice. A 44cent stamp will mail that to each person.

luckylindy333 08-22-2011 06:51 PM

Oh, OK, I was sort of thinking that would be a good way of doing it. You just don't see a sample of the other person's work so mailing everyone some samples will work! Now all we need are addresses. We don't have to mail to everyone, need to figure out who gets some of my samples...

Thanks for the suggestion, Crafty!

Crafty3790 08-22-2011 07:16 PM

If you want to continue to keep them all together and send in the rotation I'm all for it that is the way it's done. I just wasn't sure if the plan was to continue on or not. I want to keep going. I just have no rows currently to work on. Or medallions so let me know what the plan is. It would be good for them to match.

makes sense; we will keep going...the written word can always be confusing :)

debe 08-23-2011 01:05 PM

I have sent my medallion on to Crafty; have nothing to send to Dungeon since Charm wanted hers back and will wait for whatever arrives at my door and work on it :)

I just finished Dungeon Quilter's row. I planned on sending it earlier this week, but ended up working long hours at work. I had today off, so I had plenty of time to finish it up. Hope you like it!

NCquilter 10-14-2011 04:55 PM

The pics of my row are posted on page 2 of this thread. The blocks are 12" finished size.

Crafty3790 10-14-2011 05:27 PM

Crafty3790 10-14-2011 05:27 PM

Thanks, Kelly- my favorite colors!!! I kept trying to post that I love the native American-type designs. I am part Navajo (very small part) but still feel some kinship...

debe 10-15-2011 12:53 PM

Kelly; it's lovely

Glad you like it! It was very fun to make. I love using brights and trying out new block designs.
