Adorable and I would put it together just as she wanted it.

Love, love, love these pics! Darling lil helper you have, great quilt, too! My lil granddaughter loves to help me, too...and when my Nanny (grandma) and Mom told me that being a grandma was amazing, they were so very right.

Teacup, that's a wonderful idea!!!

Cute quilt and granddaughter! My Granny used to let me organize her button box. She had me put a string through the matching buttons to make sets. You are making precious memories with your granddaughter!

How blessed you were - helping your granny. I was an Air Force brat, traveling all over so never got to spend much time with my grandmother on my father's side and my mother's mother died before I was ever born. I hope to make a lot of memories with all 5 of my grandchildren.

Like that pattern. Name please

The pattern is called "Falling Diamonds"; found it as a table runner in the Spring 2013 issue of Modern Quilts Unlimited. I'm cutting and sewing enough diamonds to make it a twin size quilt. I did find that my pieces went together much easier if I cut them 3 inches by 8 3/4 inch instead of 3 by 8 1/2.

Isn't she the sweetest quilter you know? I started my DGD out sewing on my lap when she was three. That is one of the first things she wants to know when I come visiting. Did I bring my sewing machine. She is 6 now.

That is GREAT!!!

What a beautiful little quilter. Don't think they get any sweeter than that. Quilt is pretty and the one behind it looks beautiful.

Why, thank you! The tulip quilt behind is waiting for me to get it quilted - maybe late this year.

The Quilt is going to be awesome, and your future quilter did a great job on the design.

Cutie. We need future quilters. I have been working with my granddaughter and she love it . She is eleven. I just bought her a sewing machine. She says when she gets grown she is going to have a sewing room like mine.
