You can get some interesting information on you're machine, if you have the correct brand & close year of manufacture, on the Smithsonian Institute's website. I forget the proper address but just google Smithsonian. I have a 1898 Wheeler-Wilson treadle and was amazed at what I found.

the decaling is refered to as Lotuc or sometime thistle.
One of the nice features is the oversized handwhel which is great for hand turns and fabric rotations. |
i checked with singer and it was born bet july and dec 1915 in clydebank scotland model 66k. thanks to all your help and comments.
