Kaz 06-05-2011 02:15 PM

Wow. Lucky you. The 1471 was my very first Pfaff and kept on upgrading ever since, you will love it!! And a Bernina serger!!!!! I miss not having a serger now but really don't sew enough garments but that price was a steal. So happy for you

Candace 06-05-2011 02:16 PM

Tulip 06-05-2011 02:21 PM

I couldn't fit it all in but also got a large bag of serger thread for $2.00 and a Oliso Iron for $5.00, a sewing table for $10.00 and clamp light for my sewing table for $3.00 and a wonderful book case for $5.00. I was so excited, it felt like Christmas!!! DH said he is glad I don't collect antique cars, lol. Thanks for your kind words.

Liking your finds! I passed on a Precision Deluxe 2 weeks ago - it looked like yours, but was turquoise. I did get a new Home instesd - has zigzag that my DIL wanted for mending.
Congrats! Who knew we could use more than 1 machine? i won't even share how many I now own. :)

Talk about a fantastic find!!!
Mine was not nearly as super, just an old Singer 66 in art deco cabinet with drawers full of stuff for $20 and a Breadman brand new breadmaker for $10.
