How do you plan to quilt it? By hand or machine? It really is a great find and so very well put together. I'd hate to think that some of my UFO's would end up in a garage sale for $5.

I'm planning to start quilting it tomorrow. I need to put a new needle in my Tin Lizzie and decide on what to use for the backing. I have a bunch of backings ready, I think I'll go with something plain for the back because the top is so busy. I'll post a picture when it's done. Thanks to all for the nice comments. I do feel so lucky, still smileing!

You go girl. What a find. Looks like 50's fabric to me. Can't wait to see finished product.

It is very large, 88X93. The workmanship is vey nice, points meet, seams presed etc. I can't wait to quilt it. Any ideas out there of when it was made?
