I'm sure your DH will love the quilt and I think only you will see any mistakes as it is a beautiful quilt. I agree with Barb in Louisiana that sometimes some projects just take longer than others. I started a quilt for my DH to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, but didn't finish it until much later, either 5 or 10 years, but he did get it. However, it was a Kaliedescope (sp) quilt and I will never make another one, too many bias pieces, even though it finished into a beautiful quilt, guess that's what I get for letting him pick the fabric and the pattern.

This is a beautiful quilt.. I too have civil war buffs in my family and would love to know what fabric line the map fabric is. Great job.

Amazing! One of the best patriotic quilts I've seen.

Congratulations on finishing this one! I am working on this quilt too and it has been a challenge for me. What kind of quilting design are the long arm quilters going to do on yours? Also which fabric did you use for the backing?

Wow...it's spectacular !! Love the fabric/colors used here.

I just finished my DH's Christmas quilt also, a patriotic 120 inches x120 inches quilt. I also struggled with mine but am now so glad it is done. I see nothing wrong with your quilt. It is beautiful. Thanks for posting a picture.

I can't see any mistake and I love it. I always tell my friends if you find a mistake it is just me testing to see how close you are looking at my quilt. Ha ha. Your quilt is beautiful.
