A gift for my aunt
2 Attachment(s)
My Aunt Susie has been telling family members that she wants a "Debbie" quilt. I decided on the pattern Summer at Mom's. I had to use an off white for the backing as I didn't have enough white. I still need to bind it & will finish that in the next couple of days. It will be for her 75th birthday. I sure hope she likes it.

What a great gift. You did a wonderful job.

Beautiful quilt and quilting!! Great job!
Gorgeous, colorful quilt!
How sweet is that that she calls it a "Debbie quilt." Even sweeter that you made her such beautiful one.
I think anyone would be happy to get a "Debbie Quilt" as beautiful as that!!!
She'll love it. Beautiful work.
Lucky Aunt Susie! She will love it. That is a beautiful quilt. Simple is always so pretty and the addition of the applique in the border adds just enough to make it classy. Think quite a few of us would like a "Debbie Quilt".
So beautiful! Sometimes the less complicated designs are the prettiest. She's going to love her Debbie Quilt.
nice quilt and quilting

Its really beautiful and thoughtful. I love pinwheels. Wonderful 75th b'day gift.
It's gorgeous. How do you manage to put those beautiful swirls and flower designs on quilts? It's lovely
Thank you for the compliment. I quilt with a Juki TL 98 Q on a Little Gracie II frame. It's not a long arm and is an older set up, but it fits in my sewing room. Swirls are one of my favorite FMQ. With more practice I would love to learn feathers, but right now my feathers sort of look like the Loch Ness monster...lol. And I just noticed that my pictures are upside down. Don't know how that happened.
