By any chance was your friend named "BEV" because while I was in Fl one lady bought a bunch of these also.

She had been to an estate sale and found 37 Dresdan plate blocks as appliqued and ready to be joined into a top and quilted. the blocks are 17" square and made of 1930 type prints. Cant wait il i have a few other projects out of my hair so i can see what these beauties will loom like when quilt is finished.
