This is a pattern from McKenna Ryan, I just fell in love with the Goldfinches, they visit our yard in flocks every spring.

Oh my gosh, this is beautiful!! Are her patterns difficult? I do like alot of them. Is this machine appliqued? So gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

I have finches all winter, keep a big sock full of thistle seed for them. They are quite polite and never try to run fellow feeders off the sock.

BTW, they've started turning colors already.

That's a beautiful project - love the finches (both on the quilt and in person)

HATE that *#@)!$*#&%)!_* thistle - every time I try to hurry and pull it out with 'regular' garden gloves on - IT BITES ME! :( I need the industrial rubber gloves which are in the garage on the shelf :)

I love that pattern. I have those finches also in the Spring. You have to see them move or you think it's danylions in the yard.
