I just got the binding on this quilt for my daughter. I bought the fabric a long time ago.
I found it when I was de-stashing in January. I don't remember when or where I got it. The photo is very pale but the background is a pretty peach color. |
I have never seen this design and it is lovely. What a great way to recall an awesome movie. The quilting is wonderful as well. Great job!

I couldn't find a pattern but I had seen a picture of a quilt done that way. I drew it up on graph paper. What a challenge to get the angles right. I am not a math whiz.

What a great quilt to remember a classic movie. I think your presentation of the panel pictures is superb! It is just perfect. I remember that fabric from a long time ago. I am glad you found it and were inspired to make this quilt for your daughter. It is a treasure. You now, I have some Star Wars fabric---I wonder!

If I recall, this was one of the first movie theme fabric made a long time ago. You did a very terrific job with the pattern design.
