I just got the binding on this quilt for my daughter. I bought the fabric a long time ago.
I found it when I was de-stashing in January. I don't remember when or where I got it.
The photo is very pale but the background is a pretty peach color.

I have never seen this design and it is lovely. What a great way to recall an awesome movie. The quilting is wonderful as well. Great job!

Jingle 03-18-2016 01:30 PM

Very nice, not seen that before.

Kani 03-18-2016 01:42 PM

I love it. Where did you get the pattern for the quilt. I have some fabric I want to do that way.

glassnquilts 03-18-2016 01:47 PM

I couldn't find a pattern but I had seen a picture of a quilt done that way. I drew it up on graph paper. What a challenge to get the angles right. I am not a math whiz.

joyce888 03-18-2016 01:47 PM

Very nice and I like the way you set the film strip at an angle.

What a great quilt to remember a classic movie. I think your presentation of the panel pictures is superb! It is just perfect. I remember that fabric from a long time ago. I am glad you found it and were inspired to make this quilt for your daughter. It is a treasure. You now, I have some Star Wars fabric---I wonder!
