Hi there!!Love the quilt. Prayers for your family. We just found out last Sun. that my mom slow progressive leukemia cause her to wake up blind and then after blood work found it had slammed her with vengeance and they put right into Hospice. She is 85 so it is rough and she doesn't want any treatments. She sewed all her life. Especially with 6 kids. Myself and 5 boys, WHEW!!! We are in SC and she is in Northern Mi. We will leave soon. God bless her and keep her in his hands and heal her. Take Care

The quilt is absolutely gorgeous! I'm sure she will feel wrapped in love! As a two time breast cancer survivor myself, I know chemotherapy can be very grueling. You get hot and cold flashes constantly from all the steroids they give you to avoid allergic reactions. But I was always cold during chemo treatments and constantly needed a blanket during the IV's. Many of us brought our own quilts from home instead of those ugly white sterile looking blankets that the cancer center has.
Having been through that twice, I can promise you, it's the little things people do for you when your sick that make you feel so loved!! It was quite thoughtful of you to do that for her!! I'll keep your sister and your family in my prayers!! |
Lovely quilt. I wish your sister well. I know from experience with many friends that a good comfort quilt can be a help.
|
Oh my!! that is a cheerful quilt.
|

I'm sure she loves it. Prayers for your sister. Hugs, Sharon |
