I made this quilt for my oldest sister who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June of this year, hopefully the name of the quilt will also bring her some good luck.
It was a huge shock to our family when we were told that she has cancer, no one in our family has ever had cancer, mostly anyone that's passed away has had a heart attack, so it's not something we ever thought would happen, she started having treatments a couple of weeks ago, we are staying positive that she will get through this. |
love it! good wishes for your sister.

The quilt is gorgeous. Your thoughtfulness in making it should cheer her. Joy and a positive attitude are great weapons to help her heal.

Stunning and sending prayers to your sister
|
Praying for your sister. A note of encouragement... My darling daughter was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February 2008. She has been on chemo treatments since 3/08 and her last PET scan done 6/28/11 showed no growth of the cancer. We are giving thanks to God our Father, all who continue to pray for her, and the wonderful doctors and staff who care for her.

Beautiful quilt blessings to your sister and the family
|
Your quilt is so pretty and cheerful! Our prayers go to your sister and all of you as you support her in this journey. God bless!
|
Best wishes to you and your family. I lost my sister in April to cancer. We also had never had it in our family. I too made my sister a quilt hoping it would bring her some comfort. I think it did. It's something we can do when we feel otherwise helpless to do anything.
|
Beautiful quilt and I am sure it will bring your sister great comfort during her treatment. Good wishes to you all during this difficult time.

Stunning quilt! May her angels wrap their arms around her and heal her back to health!
