oh WOW! had company for almost a week and in the last three days my iron blew up, the microwave gave up the ghost, the toaster decided it didn't want to work, the water pressure tank was visited by 'murphy' and now i have no water either, and i had my hubby in the ER for his knee for a few hours yesterday. when our family left today i secluded myself without the phone in my sewing room and just unwound. the kicker is....
i am allergic to rabbits and i dont really do 'cutesy'....but i think ill keep it! haha thanks for letting me get out the last of the last!~ |
What a nice way to relax. It is so very nice. Hope from now on things will start happening good for ya! From your southern part of the state neighbor.

What a great way to relax. Sounds like you needed it. Hope things start getting better. I love your quilt!!!

Isn't it good therapy when nothing else will work?? Hope things improve! Cute quilt, by the way!!
I love your quilt. Quilting and sewing is therapy to me always. Things were pretty hectic at my house one week. I did my normal chores for a Friday, took a shower, got a bottle of wine and sewed until 5 am that Saturday. Got a whole project completed. Hopefully things will improve soon.
Hope things are going better for you now. Cute quilt. Just shows what you can do when you step outside your comfort zone. And it's a great way to have a bunny without aggravating your allergies. :)
Soooooooo cute! Great way to unwind!!
Sorry to hear of all the things going wrong in your home and hope things have improved now.
I would have locked myself away too! Don't think I would have produced anything quite as lovely as your hanging though! |
I think it is great. The "cutesy style" becomes you!!
I so hate it when several things at once go kaput. Glad you were able to unwind. A very cute quilt. It looks pleasing to the eye.
Cute quilt, isn't sewing great therapy. Sorry you had so many issues to deal with. Hope things are better now. Kick Murphy's butt out the door, he's been there long enough.
I love your quilt, where did you get the pattern? It is so cheery.
I'm about 50 or 60 miles south of you. |
Great job. Hopefully all frustration went into quil5 and 2013 will be much better.
Cute wall hanging! Neat to see that you had such great success in relaxing, and getting away for a bit!
Hope things at the house are better too! :) |
What an adorable quilt. Makes me think of spring, which I really like to do this time of year. I am NOT a winter person. Glad you had a little time to unwind.
It looks like "Murphy" was working overtime at your house. The quilt is cute! Nice way to unwind, even if you are allergic to rabbits. At least this one will not shed!
Wonderful work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cute result, am sorry for all the problems. Some days, (weeks, and even years), are like that. Then the sun shines for a verrry long time. Hope you have a GREAT New Year.
Your boredom paid off beautifully! I love teh colors and the designs - gorgeous!
Beautiful quilt and I do hope it is getting better for you.
Wow you can come be board at my house
well i think that's one rabbit you can stay around. very cute!!!
It it amazing to non quilters the thought that actual sewing/quilting can be so relaxing. They look at it and all they think is how much tension and frustration it would cause them. But after a crazy day at work, I find peace and solitude in my sewing room.
I love it, just makes you smile; and it sounds like you need something to smile about right now! As "Annie" would say "The sun will come out tomorrow".
Perfect way to unwind. Great job.
Your quilt/ wall hanging is so cute. I hope the new year is better for you.

Have a Blessed day Ellen |
Wow, you've had an eventful time and not in a good way...except for finishing the quilt which looks cute. Hope things start going better for you!
Don't you hate it! It always seems when one thing happens a domino affect happens. But that said your quilt is awesome !
Nice way to cheer yourself up!

Hope things are better now! I am ready for things to get back to normal (whatever that is) and get back to quilting, full-time.
Your quilt is so cute. It is nice to have company and sometimes nicer when they go!
Darling quilt! And a nice way to forget your troubles. Did you design it?
Sounds like you needed something fun for unwinding a bit. Hope all has been repaired and DH is okay.
