Great fabrics that fit the pattern or the other way around. Lovely quilt!
re: quilting ties - I use the length of my index finger up to the first knuckle for my measure to cut after I have tied them. I figure back in the day (another century) they did not have all our tools. When I made clothing for my daughter (She is now 50.) I used my little finger as a measure between hemming stitches. This gave an evenness to the hems. For adult hems I use my thumb width. Love your quilt. |
