wow! your gramma's quilt is amazing. Lucky you! I don't think I would quilt if I had to hand-piece (and cut those pieces with a template & scissors, to boot!) Your kansas troubles quilt is Perfection.

Just to warn you...Don't hesitate to cut that first seam. LoL. I had trouble convincing myself to cut up a perfectly good block. HaHa! But it all turns out great. I've done 3 or 4 of them. they are like potato chips...

You're welcome & I agree....so lucky to have her.Mine has been gone many yrs, but I was Grma's girl & think of her often.Lost Mama nearly 2 yrs ago.....that makes me the older generation in my family.I try to use the examples they set.I miss them.

I was thinking that thought the other day...about how I was moving up to be the "older" generation in my family...I'm not ready yet! I still have all the girly thoughts and feelings...did my gram and mom feel this way?? And somewhere I hit my "peak"...I think I missed it...BwaHaHaHaHa!
