My 15yr old Grandaughter is taking Art and Textiles for her GCSE. She wanted to make a quilt depicting dance. She came for the weekend, raided my stash and this is what she produced!! I am so proud of her efforts!! This is a practice piece she will do the actual quilt in March.

She found the silhouettes on the interne, printed them off then traced them onto Heat n Bond Lite, stitched along the figures then FMQ round the images!! She was very confident doing FMQ! She has done some FMQ on wallpaper which looked fantastic. Her Art teacher is also very inspirational also and gives her a lot of encouragement!!!

This is fabulous. It looks like she's on her way to a finished piece, rather than practice. She's very talented. May she go on to become a great designer.

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'Sarah's Got Talent'!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is fantastic, isn't it amazing how liberated youngsters are, no reservation or concern about 'doing things the 'right' way!!

Please pass on my admiration, it is really good, she will go on to make some amazing things in the future...you wait and see!!

YOU do have a lot of talent and have obviously inspired her, so you can have a pat on the back as well
