I used my own version of old quilt pattern. At quilt show I found templates of the hexigon shape. Great for Parkinson's hands. The needle is used against template, eventually the template is pulled away from floweretts and reused, baisting can be left in each hexigon. Quilt Patis was the brand. I have no reason to write about them other than they saved many needle pricks and the fabric for shaky hands !

Success ! I got the pictures on and not in doubles, removed the pictures and it effected the original post. WOW..

Chairjogger, it was so nice meeting you in the chatroom the other night. And oooh, i love your version of this pattern, very nice! I have never tried doing one of these, but they look like they would make nice lap work. You mention the templates make it easier for parkinson hands...do you have parkinsons? I'm so glad you are able to do your sewing, i love being able to sew too :)

That's really cute. The baby is going to love for years to come. My first quilt was for my gandson and it was hexigons done all by hand, and he still carries it around. He will be 7 this Sep. They grow up to fast.
