No, MFord, I didn't go to one of Elenor's classes but the fabric is one of her collections. I got the pattern here from a LQS. Thank you all for your comments. That is reassuring for a newbie!!!!

I love it all! I came to quilting far too late to understand the need to hand quilt--as I don't hand sew much of anything these days--certainly I don't hand piece--so I see no need to apologize for any machine quilting!

Your quilt is beautiful. Just so you know, there are no Quilt Police that say a quilt has to be all hand quilted or all machine quilted, it's you're quilt, so you're free to do what you want and you did a beautiful job of it. Nice work.
